The starfish men are a metaphor for batterers, basically.
— rpuchalsky

Hm!

I would probably have said that they are batterers.

But you’re right, I think. I don’t have a realistic style for monsters yet— my only litfic voice so far is all optimistic and stuff. So they do wind up mythicized to the point of metaphor.

Your ideas have a strange and terrible beauty about them.
— prodigal

Thank you for your kind words. ^_^

This is easily the best mix of Charlotte’s Web, Greek myth, and Superman ever to exist.
— Ford Dent

In your face, Virgil!

Your words have a habit of haunting me during my day. I turn to them and say “words, you are haunting me,” but whenever I face them they turn away. They only move when my back is turned!
— vincentavatar

Those aren’t my words. Those are your wings!

Absolutely beautiful. I like it. A lot.
— Mithrandir

Thank you for your kind words!

I stand in awe.
— David Goldfarb

Thank you for your awestanding words!

but the whole thing was very good, and very distinctly Hitherby.
— ADamiani

Thank you. ^_^

What is the stupid child’s riddle? I don’t think I’ve heard it.
— random

“Who will replace Scott McClellan?”

“President Bush!”

Ahahahahahahahahaha oh wait wrong stupid child’s riddle. ^_^

Summing up!

I liked March, overall. The imago is pretty new but it’s really cool when Hitherby_Admin downloads a new thing and suddenly it’s more powerful. It’s kind of like Optimus Prime that way.

I want to thank everyone for reading, commenting, donating, posting about Hitherby, etcetera. Thank you!

I’m not entirely sure what to do about the letters column. I think I would like it to be no more than three posts’ worth a month; I’ll work on that in May.

Please note that there’s a miniblog on the main site now, so I’m no longer posting (P.S.)’s when I can avoid it!

Talk to you again next month!
